A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of March 1955.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby resume the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.

FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 1 acre and 27·6 perches.
Being part Section 70; coloured orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE
LAND RESUMED

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land resumed: 35·2 perches.
Being part Section 70; coloured orange and edged dark orange.

All situated in Block II, Teviot Survey District, Otago R.D. (S.O. 20046.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141892 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 2 acres and 28 perches.

Adjoining part land on D.P. 3098, land on D.P. 2079, D.P. 14055, D.P. 26718, being part Allotment 2, Parish of Whangarei, and part Lot 6, D.P. 1275, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 21219, Lot 2, D.P. 10226, being part Allotment 2, Parish of Whangarei.

Situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, and Block V, Whangarei Survey District, Borough of Whangarei, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 38749.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145815 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of February 1955.
