Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block II, Carlyle Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Raymond Vincent Bishop, of Patea, stockman, and Rosa Bishop, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease, Volume 146, folio 73, Taranaki Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of February 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 3 roods 4·5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through road.

Situated in Block IV, Waitohu Survey District. (S.O. 23243.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145688 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of February 1955.
