of shareholders held on the 13th day of December 1954
it was resolved as a special resolution that,
``The company be wound up voluntarily, and that Russell
D'Renzy Mitchell, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and
he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of the
winding-up.''

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and of all
other powers thereunto enabling, the Inglewood County Council
hereby resolves as follows:
``That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest and principal and other charges on the Manganui
Bridge Renewal Loan 1954 of £3,500, authorized to be raised
by the Inglewood County Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of financing the Council's share of the
costs of renewing the Manganui River Bridge on the Inglewood-
Purangi Main Highway No. 820, the said Inglewood County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.1025 pence
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of
the County of Inglewood; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of
twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.''
The above resolution was proposed by Cr. W. Todd and was
seconded by Cr. G. W. Gibson and carried.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Inglewood was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Inglewood County Council in the presence of—

LEVELS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Levels
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
``That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the
Levels County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural
Housing Act 1939, the said Levels County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 0.0287d. in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Levels,
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.''

WAITORU FARM LIMITED
NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter
of Waitoru Farm Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 13th day of December 1954
confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named
company from £36,000 to £18,000, and the minute approved by
the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company,
as altered, the several particulars required by the abovementioned Act was registered by the Assistant Registrar of
Companies at Invercargill on the 17th day of December 1954.
The said minute is in the words and figures following:
``The capital of the company is £18,000 divided into 36,000
shares of 10s. each fully paid. Upon any increase of capital
the company is to be at liberty to issue any new shares with
any preferential, deferred, qualified, or special rights, privileges,
or conditions attached thereto. The rights for the time being
attached to any share having preferential, deferred, qualified,
or special rights, privileges, or conditions attached thereto may
be altered or dealt with as regards each class by an agreement
in writing made by some member of the class on behalf of at
least three-fourths of the shares of the class, but not otherwise.''

amend the Stoke Riding Scheme Nos. 1 and 3 has been
prepared in terms of section 29 of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953.
The amending scheme proposes to:
- Rezone as a local shopping district an area previously
zoned as residential district, namely, Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 as
shown on Scheme Plan No. 797 and situated in Polstead Road.
