NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held on the 8th day of December 1954 the following special resolution was passed:
‘That it is desirable that the company be liquidated, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Bruce Graham Harvey, of Wellington, Registered Accountant, be hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.’

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Wood Creek Water Supply Loan 1954, £9,000
THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to be raised by the Cromwell Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and amendments thereto for the purpose of the Cromwell Borough Fire Wood Creek Water Supply Scheme, the said Cromwell Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four and one-half pence (4½d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Cromwell comprising the whole of the Borough of Cromwell, on the 6th day of December 1954; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until such time as the loan is fully paid off.''
The Common Seal of the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Cromwell was hereunto affixed pursuant to a resolution of the Council passed on the 9th day of December 1954 in the presence of—

WAIMATUA RABBIT BOARD
SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Waimatua Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
‘That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by the Local Government Loans Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a dwelling house, the Waimatua Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·625 pence per acre on all the rateable property of the Waimatua Rabbit District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.''

- That the assets of the company on that day were £2,202,505 8s. 8d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand entitled the Justices of the Peace Act 1927.

SECURITY RATE
Gasworks Supplementary Loan 1954, £14,800
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves:
‘That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £14,800, authorized to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the reconstruction of the Hamilton Gasworks the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-seventh of a penny in the pound on the rateable value, unimproved, of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 15th day of December 1954.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridges Replacement Loan No. 2, 1950, £50,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1920, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
‘That, for the purpose of providing for the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of £15,000, being the final portion of a special loan of £50,000, known as Rangitikei County Council Bridges Replacement Loan No. 2, 1950, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of replacement of bridges throughout the Rangitikei County, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought five nine four pence (0·0594d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
