MAUNGARU RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section
8A of Block X, Mangakahia Survey District, and running
south-easterly generally along the generally north-eastern
boundary of the County of Hobson hereinbefore mentioned, to
the northern boundary of Lot 43 on L.T. Plan 8548, being part
of Waltons Grant situated in Blocks VII and X, Tangihua
Survey District; thence westerly along that northern boundary,
the northern boundaries of Lots 44, 45, 46, 47, and 48 on L.T.
Plan 8548, aforesaid, and part Lot 49 on D.P. 8529, the said
lots being parts of Waltons Grant aforesaid, along the north-
eastern boundaries of Lot 1 on L.T. Plan 10894, and Lot 51
on D.P. 8529, the said lots being parts of Waltons Grant afore-
said and of Omana Block, and along the eastern boundary of
Lot 2 on D.P. 10736, being parts of Omana Block aforesaid,
Waltons Grant aforesaid, and Whangai Mokopuna Block, to the
middle of the Tauroa Stream; thence up the middle of that
stream to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of

Mokopuna and Omana Blocks, to and along the north-eastern

eastern boundary of part Waiaruhe Block shown on D.P. 14082,
a right line across a public road to and along the eastern
boundaries of Lot 13 on D.P. 24559, being part of Waiaruhe
Block aforesaid, Section 21 of Block VI, Maungaru Survey
District, again Lot 13 aforesaid, Lots 10 and 8 on D.P. 24559
aforesaid, and Lot 2 on D.P. 25325, the said lots being parts
of Waiaruhe Block aforementioned, along the eastern bound-
aries of Lot 1 on D.P. 25325 aforesaid, and Lot 1 on D.P.
24559 aforementioned, the said lots being parts of Waiaruhe
Block aforesaid and of Maungaru Block, to and along the
southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of the part
Maungaru Block shown on D.P. 22896, the eastern
and north-eastern boundaries of the part Maungaru
Block aforementioned shown on D.P. 18234, the eastern
boundary of the part Maungaru Block shown on D.P. 12499,
the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 6 of
Block XIII, Mangakahia Survey District, the south-eastern
boundary of Lot 21 on D.P. W. 55, being part of Te Karaka
Block, and along a right line across a public road to and
along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 15, and the south-
eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 14, both lots
being shown on the said D.P. W. 55, and being parts of Te
Karaka Block aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

KAIHU RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 3
on D.P. 33193, being part of Kaihu No. 1 Block, situated in
Blocks IX, and X; Kaihu Survey District, and running
easterly along the southern boundary of the Waipoua Riding
as hereinbefore described, to the middle of the Kaihu River;
thence south-easterly generally down the middle of that river,
to and along the western and southern boundaries of the
Borough of Dargaville as described in the Proclamation
published in New Zealand Gazette No. 38 of the 14th day of
May 1908, page 1360, to and along the eastern boundary of
Aoroa No. 3 Block, shown on S.O. Plan 4010, and along a right
line being that boundary produced to the middle of the Mount
Wesley Coast Road; thence south-westerly generally along the
middle of that road to the sea-coast; thence north-westerly
generally along the sea-coast, being part of the western
boundary of the Hobson County hereinbefore mentioned, to
the point of commencement.

ARATAPU RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast in Block I,
Kopuru Survey District, in the middle of the Mount Wesley
Coast Road, and running north-easterly generally along the
south-eastern boundary of the Kaihu Riding as hereinbefore
described, to and along the southern boundary of the Borough
of Dargaville hereinbefore mentioned, to the Wairoa River;
thence south-easterly down the right bank of that river, to
the north-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 25189, being
part of Allotment 5, Kopuru Parish; thence south-westerly
along that north-western boundary, and along a right line
being that boundary produced to the middle of the Dargaville-
Tikinui Main Highway; thence north-westerly along the middle

of that highway, to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Allotment 25 of the said parish; thence again
south-westerly generally along a right line to and along the
last-mentioned north-western boundary and along a right line
across a public road to and along the north-western boundaries
of Allotments 36 and 99, to the western corner of the last-
mentioned allotment; thence along a right line across a public
road to the north-western corner of the western portion of
Allotment 35, and along the western boundary of the said
western portion of Allotment 35, and the western boundary
of Allotment 34, to and along the northern and western
boundaries of Allotment 104, the western boundaries of Allot-
ments 118, 117, and 116, the northern and western boundaries
of Allotment 114, the north-western boundary of Allotment 56,
and along a right line across a public road to and along the
north-western boundaries of the part of Allotment 91 shown
on D.P. 8055, of the part of the said Allotment 91 shown on
D.P. 8114, of part Lot 8 on D.P. 261, being part of the said
Allotment 91, and along the north-western boundary of Lot
10 on D.P. 261, being part of Allotment 92, along a right line
across a public road to and along the north-western boundary
of part Lot 9 on D.P. 261 aforesaid, being part of the said
Allotment 92, the aforesaid Allotments all being of Kopuru
Parish aforementioned, and along a right line being the last-
mentioned boundary produced to the sea-coast; thence north-
westerly along the sea-coast, being part of the western
boundary of the Hobson County hereinbefore mentioned, to
the point of commencement.

KOPURU RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast in Block V,
Kopuru Survey District, in line with the south-eastern boun-
dary of Allotment 93, Kopuru Parish, and running north-
easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the
Aratapu Riding as hereinbefore described, to the Wairoa
River; thence south-easterly down the right bank of that river
to the northern boundary of Section 1s, Koremoa Settlement,
in Block X, Tokatoka Survey District; thence south-westerly
generally along that northern boundary, and along a right
line being that boundary produced to the middle of the Darga-
ville-Tikinui Main Highway; thence along the middle of that
highway, to and along the middle of the public road forming
the north-western boundaries of Sections 6s, 9s, and 15s, and
the northern boundaries of Sections 14s and 13s, Koremoa
Settlement aforesaid, and along the middle of the public road
forming the southern boundary of Allotment 162, and the
eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Allotment 138, to and
along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 47A, the afore-
said allotments being of Tatarariki Parish, and along a right
line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the sea-
coast; thence north-westerly along the sea-coast, being part
of the western boundary of the Hobson County hereinbefore
mentioned, to the point of commencement.

POUTO RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast in Block
XIII, Tokatoka Survey District, in line with the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment 47A, Tatarariki Parish, and
running north-easterly generally along the south-eastern
boundary of the Kopuru Riding as hereinbefore described, to
the Wairoa River; thence south-easterly, westerly, and then
north-westerly down the right bank of the said Wairoa River,
and along the shores of the Kaipara Harbour, to and along
the sea-coast, being part of the boundary of the Hobson County
hereinbefore mentioned, to the point of commencement.

OMANA RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the mouth
of the Manganui River, in Block X, Maungaru Survey District,
and running easterly generally up the left bank of the Wairoa
River, to and along the southern boundary of the Maungaru
Riding as hereinbefore described, to the eastern boundary of
the Hobson County hereinbefore mentioned; thence southerly
along that county boundary to the middle of the Tauaroa
River; thence south-westerly generally down the middle of that
river, being part of the aforesaid county boundary, to and
down the middle of the Manganui River aforementioned, to
and up the middle of the Okahu Stream, to a point in Block
XV, Maungaru Survey District, in line with the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment 136, Arapohue Parish; thence
along a right line to and along that south-eastern boundary,
along another right line across a public road, to and along the
south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 137, 140, and 100 of
the said parish, along a right line across a public road, to
and along another right line through Lots 3 and 6 on D.P.
34338, being the north-western boundaries of Allotments 53
and 52, Okahu Parish, and along the north-western boundaries
of Allotments 244 and 209 of the last-mentioned parish, to
the north-eastern corner of the south-eastern portion of
Allotment 52 of Arapohue Parish aforementioned; thence
westerly along right lines through Lots 11, 10, 7, and 9 on
D.P. 34338 aforementioned, being the northern boundaries of
the south-eastern, middle, and north-western portions of
Allotment 52 aforesaid, and the south-eastern and north-
western portions of Allotment 51 of the last-mentioned parish,
crossing and recrossing the public road forming the north-
eastern and northern boundaries of the aforementioned Lot
10, and the northern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 9, and
