PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of December 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 171 acres and 30 perches.

Being Allotment 66, Parish of Otau, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1011, folio 267, Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairarapa South as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of December 1954.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Alexander Becker, of Patearoa, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease in Perpetuity No. 479L, Volume 108, folio 55, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of December 1954.
