for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 20th day of December
1954.

of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
together with the rights-of-way appurtenant thereto, created
by Deeds Nos. 14611, 12725, 12293, 15110, 14126, 95894,
12293, 14126, and 24250, Auckland Land Registry, and affecting
respectively the land firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly,
fifthly, seventhly, eightly, ninthly, and tenthly described in
the First Schedule hereto, and the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for subdivision into building
allotments for housing purposes and shall vest in the Mayor,

date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this
