Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 12) 1954
PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 12) 1954.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of December 1954.
- Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country other than the countries specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

FIRST SCHEDULE

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Lynn, in trust, for that purpose.

Declaring Waikakahi Domain to be a Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and Revoking the Reservation Over the Said Land
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Waikakahi Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of that Act, and further revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said land.

Revoking a Warrant Excluding Road from Limitation as to Speed, and Excluding Road from the Speed Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 13th day of May 1948* which applies to the portion of road described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby excludes that portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

Revoking a Warrant Declaring a Zone of Parking Restriction in Gisborne Borough
———
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, as amended by the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, Amendment No. 1, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 12th day of June 1951* approving the application made by the Gisborne Borough Council for a declaration of a zone of parking restriction in part of Gladstone Road, Gisborne Borough.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
———
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him while he is under the age of eighteen years to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
