PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 0·1 perch.

Being Lot 206, D.P. 17615, being part Section 18, Hei Hei Settlement, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 40, Canterbury Land Registry.

Situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of November 1954.

Fixing Sittings of the Court of Appeal

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of December 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by the Judicature Amendment Act 1913 it is enacted that the Court of Appeal shall hold its sittings at such times and places as are from time to time appointed by the Governor-General in Council and notified in the New Zealand Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively, and that such appointment shall determine the division by which such sittings shall be held:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints and declares that sittings of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Court House, in the City of Wellington, upon the following days at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, and hereby determines that such sittings shall be held by the respective divisions of the said Court as are shown hereunder:

Monday, the 7th day of March 1955: By the Second Division of the said Court.

Tuesday, the 7th day of June 1955: By the First Division of the said Court.

Monday, the 5th day of September 1955: By the Second Division of the said Court.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets off Cameron Street in the Borough of Papakura, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of December 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Papakura Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of their lengths of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 145142, referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 50 ft. from the centre lines of the said streets.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papakura, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 26·6 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 10 and 11, D.P. 3447, being part Allotment 3, Opaheke Parish.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and Borough, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 17·6 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 10 and 11, D.P. 3447, being part Allotment 3, Opaheke Parish.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145142 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of December 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 59 ft.

THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 4·4 perches, more or less, being part Lot 21, D.P. 6118, being part Rural Section 73.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145107 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
