Land Taken for a Worker’s Dwelling in the Township of Sanson, Manawatu District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a worker’s dwelling and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Manawatu as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of December 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being Lot 215, D.P. 13, Town of Sanson, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 5, folio 90, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in the Township of Sanson, Manawatu District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of November 1954.

Land Taken for an Electrical Substation in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electrical substation and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of December 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2·5 perches.
Being part Rural Section 79.
Situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8668.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145040 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of November 1954.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also hereby take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 1 rood 20·92 perches.
Adjoining Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block VIII, Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block IX, Section 1, Block X, Section 4, Block XXXIII, Block XIX, and Section 1471R, Block XXXIII; coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

LAND TAKEN

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 13·75 perches.
Being part Sections 7 and 22, Block IX; coloured sepia.
All situated in the Town of Frankton, Otago R.D. (S.O. 11757.)
All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144559 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
