NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Tasman Steamship Stevedoring and Agency Company Limited will be held on the 21st day of December 1954 at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act 1933, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon on the 21st day of December 1954, at the Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, Commerce Building, Courthouse Lane, Auckland C.1, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

CENTRAL WAIKATO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Building Loan 1954, £20,000, Being Balance of Building Loan 1953, £60,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Central Waikato Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Building Loan 1954 of £20,000, being the balance of the Board's Building Loan 1953 of £60,000, authorized to be raised by the Central Waikato Electric Power Board for the purpose of financing the erection of new buildings for the housing and storage of plant, machinery, stores, and equipment, including administrative offices and facilities connected therewith, the Central Waikato Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 0·013 of a penny in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Central Waikato Electric Power District, as the same is defined by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 27th day of July 1939 at page 2042, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.'
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Central Waikato Electric Power Board held on the 17th day of November 1954.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work (namely, street), and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk, at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

ONE decimal eight two perches, more or less, being part Allotment 90, Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 154, folio 213, Auckland Registry.
