NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 232 of the
Companies Act 1933, that a general meeting of the
company will be held at 7.30 p.m., on Monday, the 13th day
of December 1954, at the office of Rhodes and Midgley, 96
Hereford Street, Christchurch, for the purpose of laying
before it the liquidator's final account of the winding-up of
the affairs of the company.

Final General Meeting of the Company

NOTICE is hereby given that a final general meeting of
the above-named company will be held at the office of
the liquidator, 262 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday,
15 December 1954, at 5 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the
liquidator's statement of account showing how the winding-up
has been conducted, and of hearing any explanation that
may be given by the liquidator, and also determining by
extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books,
accounts, and documents of the company shall be disposed of.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1954, £6,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Otaki
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the
Otaki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the erection of two houses for Council employees, the said
Otaki Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Otaki; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Otaki Borough Council at a meeting
of the Council held on the 10th day of November 1954.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Otaki War Memorial Loan 1953, £13,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Otaki
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £13,000, authorized to be raised by the
Otaki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a war
memorial hall and public library, the said Otaki Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one half-
penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of
the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough
of Otaki; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Otaki Borough Council at a meeting
of the Council held on the 10th day of November 1954.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that 'The Stratford Machinery
Exchange Company Limited' has changed its name to
'Stratford Machinery Limited', and that the new name was
this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the
former name.
