NOTICE OF MEETING OF MEMBERS
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies Act 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of John L. Arcus and Sons, 23 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 9th day of December 1954, at 3.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

A PENAL POLICY FOR NEW ZEALAND
In this brochure the problem of crime is briefly surveyed, and an outline given of the principles on which the Department of Justice acts in fulfilling its duty to provide better protection to society. The substance and the purposes of proposed changes in the law are also given.
A Penal Policy for New Zealand is commended by the Minister of Justice to all those—and it should be the concern of the whole community—who are interested in coping with what is undoubtedly a serious social problem.
