Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks V, VIII, and XII, Cape Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road ; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Okato and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 15th day of November 1954.

SCHEDULE

Being Lots 11, 12, 13, and 14 of Block I, of a subdivision of part Old Land Claim 55.

Situated in Block IX, Kawakawa Survey District, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 500, folio 290, Auckland Land Registry (limited as to parcels and title).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144955 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

As witness my hand at Wellington this 9th day of November 1954.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Kawakawa Survey District, for a Public School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public school, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ohaeawai and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.


Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Hauraki Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 20 February 1939 and published in the Gazette on 23 February 1939, Vol. I, page 288.
