Declaring Lands in North Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as Sites for Public Schools, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Auckland Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lots 21, 22, 22A, 23, 24, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, and 65 of Block 2, Deposited Plan No. 171, being parts Allotment 25 of Section 5, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District. All certificates of title, Volume 28, folio 278, Volume 147, folio 64, and Volume 152, folio 65.

Also part Allotment 25 of Section 5, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District. All Deeds Index, Volume 15A, folio 842. Conveyance No. 45366.

Total area, 2 acres 2 roods 29.6 perches, more or less.

As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1241 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

A PROCLAMATION

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

Lot 25, Deposited Plan No. 7367, being part Sections 191 and 192, Patea District, situated in Blocks IX and X, Hawera Survey District: Area, 3 roods 10.24 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 179, folio 40.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of November 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licences and permits the Queen Charlotte Transport Limited (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Picton, in Queen Charlotte Sound, as shown on the plan marked M.D. 6195 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a jetty thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2), and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of November 1954.

  4. The master of every vessel loading ballast at the said jetty shall deposit such ballast above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
