Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent
State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PUSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the
provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto
as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the South Auckland Land District,
Ohinemuri County, containing by admeasurement 6,918 acres,
more or less, being Section 33, Block I, Section 94, Block II,
Section 15, Block VI, and Sections 2, 4, and 5, Block VII,
Aroha Survey District (provisional State forest—New Zealand
Gazette 1920, page 925, and 1940, page 2657). As the same
are more particularly delineated on plans Nos. 26/54 and
26/55 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest
Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans
20298, 30930, 36670, and 36672.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 5th day of November 1954.

Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the
provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto
as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Gisborne Land District, containing by
admeasurement 4,641 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less,
and described as follows:
All that area in the Matakaoa County, containing by
admeasurement 618 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block
III, Mangaoporo Survey District, formerly Taumata-o-Manu
2B Block.
Also all that area in the Waiapu County, containing by
admeasurement 4,023 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less,
being Section 3, Block VI, Mangaoporo Survey District,
formerly part Tangihanga Block. As the same are more
particularly delineated on plan No. 33/2 deposited in the Head
Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 2nd day of November 1954.

Revoking the Reservation Over Land in Canterbury Land
District Reserved for Plantation Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PUSUANT to section 15 of the Selwyn Plantation Board
Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the reservation for plantation purposes over the land
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1834, situated in Block I, Selwyn Survey
District: Area, 7 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less. As
shown on the plan marked L. and S. 49135Y deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington,
and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 8679.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 2nd day of November 1954.
