ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of October 1954
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Euphemia Lamb Hill (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include her executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Helensville, in Kaipara Harbour, as shown on the plans marked M.D. 1926, 1927, and 1934A and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf and slip thereon as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2), and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of October 1954.
- The master of every vessel loading ballast at the said wharf shall deposit such ballast above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensees, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 20th day of August 1935 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 22nd day of the same month, at page 2277, authorizing William Gordon, George David Gordon, and John Hector Gordon, all of Garston, trading in partnership under the firm name of William Gordon and Sons, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.
