PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Wellington Harbour Board by Wright Stephenson and Co. Limited (a company duly incorporated under the Companies Acts of New Zealand, and having its registered office in the City of Wellington), under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 25855 (Wellington Land Registry), being taken for the warehousing in bond of dutiable goods under the provisions of the Customs Act 1913 whilst such goods are in the custody of the Wellington Harbour Board as wharfinger or warehouseman; for the storage and examination of damaged and pillaged goods in the custody of the Wellington Harbour Board as wharfinger or warehouseman; and for the storage of goods generally in the custody of the Wellington Harbour Board as wharfinger or warehouseman.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is permitted to be taken: 3 roods 29.3 perches.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Longfellow Street in the Town District of Leamington, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Leamington Town Board to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the South Auckland Land District, Town District of Leamington, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 16.9 perches, more or less, being part Allotments 92 and 93, Town of Cambridge West.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144421 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
