Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, 1, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 acre 2 roods 23·4 perches.

Being Lots 70 to 77 (both inclusive), D.P. 17550, being part Sections 14, 15, and 16, Hei Hei Settlement, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 40, Canterbury Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of September 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods 12·1 perches.

Being Lots 3, 4, and 5, D.P. 17560, being Town Section 290, and part Town Sections 289, 291, and 292, situated in the Borough of Geraldine, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 158, folio 292, Volume 270, folio 75, and Volume 516, folio 281, Canterbury Land Registry.
