Captain J. R. Spence, M.B.E., M.C., to be temp. Major.

Lieutenant James Balfour Will, from the 11th Coast
Regiment R.N.Z.A., is granted a short service commission for
a period of eighteen months as from 16 August 1954, in the
rank of Captain, and is appointed United Nations Military
Observer in Kashmir. Dated 16 August 1954.
