Members’ Voluntary Winding-up

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of Seaview Butchery Co. Limited (in voluntary liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Christchurch, on the 31st day of August 1954, the following special resolution was duly passed:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Norman Sydney Kirby, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Works Loan 1950, £58,800 (£6,500 Portion)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,500 (six thousand five hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of sealing streets and footpaths, constructing retaining walls, kerbing and channelling, culverts, stormwater drainage, street widening, purchasing plant, smoothing coat on road surfaces, and forming and metalling Battery Road, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 38/1000ths (thirty-eight one-thousandths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Onekawa Sewer Loan No. 2 1951, £26,750 (£4,750 Portion)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,750 (four thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds), authorized to be raised by Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reticulating with sewers a further portion of Onekawa Block, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 28/1000ths (twenty-eight one-thousandths) of a penny in a pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Camping Ground Loan 1953, £8,600

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,600 (eight thousand six hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out improvements in the Kennedy Park Camping Ground, including roading, drainage and sewerage, electrical and water installations, and erection of buildings, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 50/1000ths (fifty one-thousandths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000 (ten thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing and sealing streets and footpaths at Westshore and providing kerbing and channelling and stormwater drainage, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 58/1000ths (fifty-eight one-thousandths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
