OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a single pit and to vest the same in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otorohanga; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Otorohanga County Council at Otorohanga and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Otorohanga County Council, Otorohanga.

NOTICE is hereby given that “Daphne Barclay Limited” has changed its name to “Jays (Nelson) Limited”, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Putaruru Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work (namely, the widening of the public street known as the Tirau Road in the Borough of Putaruru), and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Glenshea Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Glenshea Street, Putaruru.

I, FRANK DEREK STRETTON, Public Accountant, of Taupo, being the liquidator of Taupo Builders Supplies Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, do hereby fix the 4th day of October 1954 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
