Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land at Whananaki for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of September 1953 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year, at page 1503, taking additional land at Whananaki for railway purposes.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of August 1954.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the South Island Main Trunk Railway, is hereby set apart for a roadman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of September 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 36·7 perches. Being Section 20.
Situated in Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. 4183.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143851, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a dehydration factory, is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of September 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 2 acres 2 roods 11·2 perches.
Being Lots 1 to 16 inclusive, D.P. 15096, being part Rural Section 145, and being part of the land in Proclamation No. 1955, and being formerly part of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 221, folio 9, and Volume 393, folio 280 (Canterbury Land Registry).
Situated in the Borough of Riccarton.
