Declaring Land in Hawke's Bay Land District, Vested in the
Hawke's Bay Education Board as a Site for a Public
School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the
Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as
the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything
contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from
time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or
part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required
for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall
vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5
of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke's Bay Education
Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL the land on Deeds Plan No. 647, being part Block 34,
Porangahau Crown Grant District, situated in Block XIII,
Motuotaraia Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 9 perches,
more or less. All certificate of title, H.B. Volume 84, folio 140.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 26th day of August 1954.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT-SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace County,
containing by admeasurement 310 acres, more or less, and being
Section 14, Block VII, Rowallan Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on plan No. 209/8, deposited in the
Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 3293.)

General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT-WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County,
containing by admeasurement 359 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more
or less, and being Rangiwaea 4F 13 Block, situated in Block VII,
Karioi Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated
on plan No. 71/32, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand
Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (M.L.

forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hokianga
County, containing by admeasurement 1,726 acres 2 roods 30 perches,
more or less, being Section 60, Block I, Whangape Survey District,
and Section 1, Block I, Mangamuka Survey District. As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 4/24, deposited in the
Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 25811 and 38255.)

Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk
Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

Being part Maraetaha 1b Block, and being part of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 86,
folio 201 (Gisborne Registry).
