Defining the Middle Line of a Transmission Line in Blocks IX, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Christchurch Survey District (viz., the Islington-Bromley 66 kV Transmission Line (Roxburgh Power Scheme))

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 43 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the Islington-Bromley 66 kV. transmission line (Roxburgh Power Scheme) proposed to be constructed under the authority of an Order in Council dated the 19th day of May 1948, made pursuant to section 311 of the Public Works Act 1928 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 20th day of the same month, in Blocks IX, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Christchurch Survey District, shall be the line defined and described in the Schedule hereto; and I hereby define as being land upon and in respect of which it is intended to exercise the powers conferred by the Public Works Act 1928 and by any other Act in respect of the erection, maintenance, and use of the said transmission line, all the land situated within seventy-five links on either side of the middle line hereby defined.
SCHEDULE

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of a Deviation of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of October 1945 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 63 of the 11th day of the same month, at page 1264, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3605, defining the middle line of a portion of a deviation of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare that as from the date hereof the area described in the Schedule hereto, being hitherto part of the outer area of the Otago Electric Power District, shall be included in and shall form part of the existing outer area of the Otago Central Electric Power District.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District being portion of the County of Maniototo bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 2, Block VI, Poolburn Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the boundary of the County of Vincent, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1954, at page 298, to its crossing of Dunstan Stream on the eastern boundary of Run 237F; thence across Dunstan Stream and south-easterly generally along its eastern bank to the northern boundary of Block II, St. Bathans Survey District; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly along the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the said Block II to the middle of Dunstan Stream; thence southerly along the middle of that stream to its junction with the Manuherikia River; thence south-easterly to and along the north-eastern boundary of Run 224B and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Runs 224B and 224z; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Run 224x to and southerly along the eastern boundary of Block XV, Blackstone Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 23 and 25, Block XVI, Blackstone Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 25 and the northern boundary of Section 3, Block VI, Poolburn Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Block VI to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 300, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
