Plan 26502; thence still southerly and then westerly along a right line running between that last-mentioned corner and the north-western corner of Section 13 of Block XVI aforesaid, to and down the right bank of the Ohinemuri River to the Waitete Stream in Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District aforesaid; thence northerly up the left bank of that stream to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF OHINEMURI
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District, being the confluence of the Waihou and Hikutaia Rivers, and running easterly generally up the middle of that last-mentioned river, and the middle of the Waipaheke Stream, to the source of the said stream; thence along a right line to the source of the Otahu River, and down the middle of that river to the sea; thence southerly along the sea coast to a point in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, known as Te Ararimu, being the south-eastern corner of Waihi No. 5 Block; thence south-westerly generally along the southern boundary of the said No. 5 Block, to and along the western end of a public road and the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 22631, being part of Section 1 of the said Block I, to and along the north-western boundaries of Section 8 of Block I aforesaid, Ohinemuri No. 17A 2A 1 Block, and part Ohinemuri No. 17A 2B Block, and the north-western and south-western boundaries of Lot 1 on D.P. 32351, being part of the aforesaid No. 17A 2B Block, part of Ohinemuri No. 17A 2C Block, and parts of Sections 6 and 7 of the aforesaid Block I, to and along the north-western boundary of Section 3 of the said Block I, crossing the intervening East Coast Main Trunk Railway, and along a right line being the western part of the last-mentioned boundary produced to the southern side of the Paeroa-Whakatane State Highway; thence easterly along the southern side of that highway to the northernmost corner of Section 12 of Block I, Katikati Survey District; thence again south-westerly generally along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 12, and the western boundaries of Section 17 of the last-mentioned Block I, and Section 31 of Block IV, Katikati Survey District, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 30035, being part of Section 11 of the said Block IV, the northern boundaries of part Lot 3 and of Lot 2 on D.P. 23590, being parts of Section 15 of Block IV aforesaid, along a right line across a public road, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1 on the said D.P. 23590, being part of the aforesaid Section 15, to and along the northern boundary of Section 33, and the north-eastern boundary of Section 28, both of Block IV aforesaid, and the north-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Aroha Survey District, to the northern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along a right line to Trig. Station No. 567 (Te Aroha) in Block X, Aroha Survey District, and along another right line running due west to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Te Aroha; thence northerly generally along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Borough of Te Aroha, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 78 of the 3rd day of May 1917, page 1868, to and down the middle of the Waihou River, the Ngahina Canal, and again the Waihou River, to its confluence with the Hikutaia River, the point of commencement, and excepting therefrom the Borough of Waihi, as hereinbefore described, and the Borough of Paeroa, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 12 of the 19th day of February 1925, page 570.
BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIHI RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF OHINEMURI
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the western corner of Section 3 of Block VII, Aroha Survey District, and running northerly generally along the north-western boundary of that section, and the south-western and northern boundaries of Section 41 of Block IV, Aroha Survey District, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 24, Block III, Aroha Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 24, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, both of Block III aforesaid, to Old Tauranga Road; thence north-westerly along the south-western side of that road and along a right line being the western end of that road-side produced to the western side of Pukekauri Road; thence again northerly along that western road-side to the middle of the Ohinemuri River, and up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the public road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 47 and 198 of Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the middle of that road, and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 155 of the said Block XV, to and along the south-western and western boundaries of Section 65, and the western boundary of part Section 64, both sections being of the aforesaid Block XV, and along the southern and western sides of the public road forming the western boundaries of Sections 11 and 10 of Block XI, Ohinemuri Survey District, to a point due south of the easternmost corner of Section 15 of the said Block XI; thence along a right line crossing the road, to and along the eastern boundaries of Sections 15 and 14, the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 8, the eastern boundaries of Sections 21 and 13, and along a right line across a public road, to and along the eastern boundaries of Sections 18 and 9, the aforesaid sections all being of Block XI aforesaid, and along the eastern boundaries of part Section 3, Section 15, and Section 6, all of Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District, to and along the dividing ridge running through the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section, and through Trig. Station No. 89 (Ngapuketura) in Block III, Ohinemuri Survey District, to the northern boundary of the Ohinemuri County; thence easterly, southerly, and then westerly along the boundaries of the Ohinemuri County, as hereinbefore described, to the western corner of Section 3 of Block VII, Aroha Survey District aforesaid, the point of commencement, and excepting therefrom the Borough of Waihi, as hereinbefore described.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Takapuna, the County of Waitemata, and the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata
PURSUANT to section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the Borough of Takapuna, the County of Waitemata, and the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata, the previous boundaries having been altered by Order in Council dated the 23rd day of February 1954 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of the 25th day of February 1954.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VIII, Waitemata Survey District, on the line of mean high water along the shores of the Hauraki Gulf, being the south-eastern corner of Lot 13 on D.P. 9328, being part of Allotment 190, Parish of Takapuna, and running south-easterly generally along that line of mean high water, crossing the mouth of the Wairau Creek, to a point in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, being the south-eastern corner of Allotment 6 of Section 1 of the said parish, shown on D.P. 21106; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of the said Allotment 6, and along a right line across Lake Road to the intersection of the south-western side of that road with another right line bearing 75Β° from a point on the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 30904, being part of Allotment 7 of Section 1 of the said parish, distant 200 links from the southern corner of Lot 2 on D.P. 40447, being part of the aforesaid
