Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Wellington Land
Districts, Vested in the Auckland and Wanganui Education
Boards as Sites for Public Schools, to be Vested in
Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act), it is provided that notwithstanding anything contained
in any other Act the Governor-General may from time to
time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part
of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for
that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon
the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest
in Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of
the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5
of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland
Education Board, and the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui
Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested
in Her Majesty the Queen freed and discharged from every
educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALLOTMENT 179, Opaheke Parish, situated in Block X,
Opaheke Survey District: Area, 5 acres, more or less. All

Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in
the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act
1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the
Land Act 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart for irrigation purposes (raceman's cottage); and
I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 2nd day of August 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
3 acres.
Being part Section 10s, Teviot Settlement.
Situated in Block VII, Benger Survey District (Otago
R.D.). (S.O. 11863.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-

in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured yellow.
