Classification of Roads in Woodville County
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby alters the Woodville County Council’s proposed classification, as advertised in the Manawatu Daily Times, Manawatu Standard, and Dannevirke Evening News newspapers on 9 February 1954, of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Woodville County, and hereby approves such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.

Classification of Roads in Hawke’s Bay County
PURSUANT to subclause (5) of regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby approves the Hawke’s Bay County Council’s proposed classification, as advertised in the Daily Telegraph newspaper on 16 January 1954, of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Hawke’s Bay County.

Revoking Appointment of and Appointing Licensing Authorities for Issue of Heavy Traffic Licences
PURSUANT to subclause (2) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950,* the Minister of Transport hereby revokes those parts of Warrants dated 2 May 1954† and 19 May 1954‡ appointing the local authorities described in Column 1 of the first Schedule hereto as the appropriate Licensing Authorities for the purpose of collecting heavy traffic fees due under the said regulations for the districts of the local authorities and for such areas as are described in Column 2 of the First Schedule hereto, and hereby appoints the local authorities and persons described in Column 1 of the Second Schedule attached hereto to be the appropriate Licensing Authorities for the purpose of collecting heavy traffic fees due under the said regulations for the district of the local authority, when local authorities are so appointed, and for such area or other areas as are described in Column 2 of the Second Schedule opposite the respective name of said local authority or person:
Provided that the Commissioner of Transport shall be the appropriate Licensing Authority in the case of all heavy motor vehicles owned by the Crown.

PURSUANT to regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes as from 12 July 1954 the approvals of the persons, firms, companies, and local bodies described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the issue of Warrants of Fitness for motor vehicles.
