Declaring a Reserve to Form Part of Naumai Domain
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of the said Act, to form part of the Naumai Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize them while they are under the age of eighteen years to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption From Light Requirements
PURSUANT to regulation 10 (6) of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves for use in terms of regulation 7 (13) of the said regulations the type of lighting equipment fitted to the Austen Western Street Sweeper (namely, one white spot lamp of 6 in. diameter, directed to the rear of the vehicle and placed at a height not exceeding 6 ft., with the beam of the light so depressed that it meets the roadway at a maximum distance of 20 ft. from the rear of the vehicle); provided that the spot lamp be used only while the vehicle is engaged in street sweeping; and provided also that the vehicle displays two red lamps showing a light visible at least 300 ft. to the rearward of the vehicle and attached to the extreme outside edges of the vehicle at the same height as the white spot lamp.

Classification of Road in Hauraki Plains County
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (8) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 1st day of June 1950, in so far as it applies to the classification in Class Three of the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Hauraki Plains County Council’s proposed variation in the classification of the said portion of road, as advertised in the Thames Star* newspaper on 23 November 1953, and as set out in the Schedule hereto.
