Lands Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land
Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being lands subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Lot 28, Deposited Plan No. 15111, being part Rural Section 64, situated in City of Christchurch: Area, 5 acres 3 roods 36·4 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 477, folio 56.

Also Lot 91, Deposited Plan No. 15523, being parts Rural Sections 713 and 1166, situated in City of Christchurch: Area, 3 roods 13·7 perches, more or less. Parts certificates of title, Volume 496, folio 274, and Volume 154, folio 113.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle-line of the Sockburn–Styx Railway

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of June 1953, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35 of the 25th day of June 1953, defining the middle-line of the Sockburn–Styx Railway in so far as it affects Lot 1, D.P. 15136, being part Rural Section 1156, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 532, folio 248 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of June 1954.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a sports-ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Tawa Flat as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 2 roods 33·4 perches.

Being part Section 53, Porirua District.

Situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District (Borough of Tawa Flat). (S.O. 23105.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143276, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of May 1954.
