A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT-TARANAKI COUNTY PART Section 161, Hua District (part Katere Maori Reserve). Situated in Block II, Paritutu Survey District: Area, 226 acres 34.2 perches, more or less.
Part certificate of title Volume 53, folio 109, and all the land in West Coast Settlement Reserve Lease recorded in Volume 149, folio 108 (Taranaki Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of May 1954.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board, the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Nelson Education Board, and the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

ALLOTMENT 104, Otau Parish, situated in Block III, Opaheke Survey District: Area, 5 acres 2 roods, more or less. (L. and S. H.O. 4/937; D.O. 3/717)

PART Section 10, Block XIV, Kaupokonui Survey District: Area, 1 rood 16.1 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3630/136, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
