A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building-line condition imposed by Order in Council No. 2225 (Wellington Land Registry), for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of January 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 15·62 perches.
Being Lots 17 and 18, D.P. 16802, being part Suburban Section 990, Township of Palmerston North, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 540, folio 142 (Wellington Land Registry).
Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District (City of Palmerston North).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of December 1953.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river-protection purposes and shall vest in the Hutt River Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of January 1954.
