Licensing Fiordland Travel Company to Use and Occupy Parts of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark at Lake Te Anau as Sites for Four Jetties

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December 1953
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Wilson Cameron Campbell, of Gore, and Charles Lawson Burrows, of Te Anau, trading under the style or title of Fiordland Travel Company (hereinafter called the licensees, which terms shall include their executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy parts of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Dome Island, Gorge Falls, The Caves, and Te Anau Downs, in Lake Te Anau, as shown on plans marked M.D. 8964, 8967, 8968, and 8969, respectively, and 8916, all deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining the four jetties thereon as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall so far as applicable apply hereto.
(2) The term of licence shall be seven years from the 1st day of January 1954.
(3) The premium payable by the licensees shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable by the licensees shall be five pounds (£5).
(4) The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said jetties shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Declaring Land in Matamata County to be a Service Lane

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of January 1954.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a service lane for the purposes of Part I of that Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata County, containing by admeasurement 7·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 710, D.P.S. 2051, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 645, folio 124 (Auckland Land Registry).

Declaring the Ngatrua Farm Settlement Road in the Manawatu County to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHE DULE ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Manawatu County, known as Duncan Road, commencing at its junction with McLennan Road and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 38·75 chains, more or less, adjoining Rural Sections 629, 630, 631, 628, 633, and 632, Township of Carnarvon, situated in Block XII, Te Kawau Survey District (Ngatrua Farm Settlement). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142040, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Southern Side of Portion of Meredith Street, in the Borough of Patea, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Patea Borough Council on the 8th day of July 1952, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:' 'The Patea Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Town of Patea, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the south side of a portion of Meredith Street fronting subdivision of Lots 7 and 8, Deeds Plan 53, being part Section 44, Patea Suburban District.'
SCHEDULE THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of Patea, known as Meredith Street, fronting a subdivision of Lots 7 and 8, Deeds Plan 53, being part Section 44, Patea Suburban, Block VII, Carlyle Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142028, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Pringle Street (Extension) in the City of Timaru, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Timaru City Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 142027, referred to in the Schedule hereto within a distance of 35 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Timaru, containing by admeasurement 25·5 perches, more or less, being part Lots 20 and 21, D.P. 753, being part Rural Section 838. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142027, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
