A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 10th day of May 1954.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 10th day of May 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 32.3
perches.
Being closed street adjoining or passing through the land in
D.P. 9284, Lot 320 (road reserve), D.P. 9360, and Lots
20, 22, 24, and 25, D.P. 14282, all being part Section 51,
Porirua District, and being the whole of the land com-
prised and described in Proclamation dated the 5th day
of February 1953, published in the New Zealand Gazette
No. 8 of the 12th day of the same month at page 196,
and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington
as No. 4728.

Land Taken for the Purpose of Facilitating Mining Operations
in the City of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 26
of the Petroleum Act 1937, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose
of facilitating mining operations and shall vest in Egmont
Oil Wells Limited, a company duly incorporated under the
Companies Act 1933 and having its registered office at Paritutu
Crescent, New Plymouth, as from the date hereinafter men-
tioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 10th day of May 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 2 roods
12·8 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 4961, being part of Maori Reserve No. Id
(Moturoa) of the Grey District, and being also the whole
of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 119, folio 6 (Taranaki Land Registry).
Situated in the City of New Plymouth.
