April 1954
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1953, and section 125 of the Public
Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
hereby authorizes the Green Island Borough Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for parts of its length of less than 66 ft.
but not less than 45 ft., subject to the condition that no
building or part of a building shall at any time be erected
on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D.
142745, referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of
15 ft. from the boundary of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, Borough of
Green Island containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood
37·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 2, and part Lot 3,
D.P. 5139, and Lot 1, D.P. 7862 being part Sections 44, 54,

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of
April 1954
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the following resolution passed by the Auckland
City Council on the 18th day of February 1954, viz:
‘‘The Auckland City Council, being the local authority
having the control of the streets in the City of Auckland,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128
of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the
eastern portion of Redmond Street, fronting a subdivision
of portion of Allotment 21, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, being all the land comprised and contained in
certificate of title, Volume 589, folio 149, Auckland
Registry’’,
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as
Redmond Street, fronting Lot 20, and part Lots 8, 9, 19, and
21 of a subdivision of portion of Allotment 21, Section 8,
Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142822, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of
the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the
30th day of April 1947 and published in the New Zealand
Gazette on the 8th day of May 1947 at page 535, authorizing
Francis John Fussell, of Jacksons, Hotelkeeper, to use water
for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain
electric lines, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said
Order in Council having been assigned to Walter Henry Neame,
of Jacksons, Hotelkeeper.
