HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1927 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the investment in debentures of the Auckland Electric Power Board, bearing interest at 4 per cent and maturing on the 15th day of December 1968, of the sum of five hundred pounds (£500) received in terms of section 22 of the said Act by the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the Franklin Electric Power Board, and the sum of one thousand pounds (£1,000) in terms of section 30 of the said Act by the Franklin Electric Power Board.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the 4th day of the same month at page 1626, appointing five non-elective members of the Otago Catchment Board by deleting therefrom: ‘‘Geologist, Geological Survey Branch, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Balclutha’’, and substituting ‘‘Senior Pedologist, Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Dunedin’’.

PURSUANT to subsection (4) of section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 3 February 1930 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 9 of 6 February 1930 at page 350, setting apart the land known as Nuhaka 2d 2g 13 Block as a Maori reservation.
