HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby alters the boundaries of the Nelson Milk District constituted by Order in Council dated the 12th day of June 1946,* and altered by Orders in Council dated the 27th day of October 1948† and the 27th day of April 1953‡ by including therein that portion of the Waimea County more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area, being portion of the Waimea County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore of Tasman Bay in line with the northern boundary of Section 31, Block XII, Kaiteriteri Survey District; thence proceeding westerly generally to and along that boundary, the western boundary of the said Section 31 and the northern boundaries of Sections 2 of 17 and 32, Block XII aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the said Section 32, being a point on the western boundary of Block XII aforesaid; thence southerly along that boundary to the south-western corner of Section 101, Block XII aforesaid, being a point on the northern boundary of Block X, Kaiteriteri Survey District; westerly generally along that boundary to the north-western corner of Section 77, Block X aforesaid; thence southerly along the western boundary of the last-mentioned Section to and down the left bank of the Riwaka River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 59, Block X aforesaid; thence again southerly across the Riwaka River to and along the last-mentioned boundary and the western boundaries of Sections 58, 48, 47, 43, 44, 45, and 14, all of Block X aforesaid, the western boundaries of Sections 13 and 1 N.R., a right line across the Motueka River, along the western boundaries of Sections 215, 245, 244, 243, 242, 241, 240, 239, 238, 237, 236, all of Block III, Motueka Survey District, crossing all intervening roads, and along the western boundaries of Sections 235, 234, 232, and 231, Block VII, Motueka Survey District, to the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned Sections; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 231 aforesaid, 230, and 200, Block VII aforesaid, crossing intervening roads, to the left bank of the Moutere River; thence down the left bank of that river and along the north-western shore of the Moutere Inlet to the southern side of Harbour Road; thence easterly along that side of Harbour Road to the north-eastern shore of Moutere Inlet; thence south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the shores of that inlet to the shore of Tasman Bay; thence northerly along the shore of Tasman Bay to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Section 144, N.R. Block IV, Motueka Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Motueka as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1939 at page 2175; thence westerly, northerly, and north-easterly generally along that borough boundary to the shore of Tasman Bay; thence northerly generally along the shore of Tasman Bay to the point of commencement.

Constituting the Blueskin Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 5612)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of March 1954

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 and to section 29 of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 30 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Blueskin Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the Rabbit Board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of land occupied by the ratepayer.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE BLUESKIN RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing 26,000 acres, more or less, and situated in Waikouaiti County, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station S, Swampy Hill, thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 37, 36, 35, 30, and 11, Block III, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to the south-western boundary of Block II aforesaid district; thence north-westerly, north-easterly, and easterly along the south-western, north-western, and northern boundaries of Block II aforesaid to the mean high-water mark of Blueskin Bay; thence generally south-easterly along the mean high-water mark of Blueskin Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and Otago Harbour, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block I, Lower Harbour West Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the Borough of Port Chalmers, the northern boundary of the Borough of West Harbour, and the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the City of Dunedin to the north-western boundary of Section 4, Block VIII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence north-westerly along that boundary and its production to the centre of the Leith Valley Road; thence generally northerly along the centre of that road to the southern boundary of Block III, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary to Trig. Station S, Swampy Hill, the point of commencement.
