SCHEDULE
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF MANUREWA AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF MANUKAU
ALL that area of approximately 60 acres situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Borough of Manurewa, being the southernmost corner of Lot 19 on D.P. 4436, being part of Clendon's Grant, and running north-easterly and south-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 19 aforesaid, to and along a right line parallel to and 250 links distant from the south-western side of Russell Road to the north-western boundary of Lot 23 on D.P. 4436 aforesaid, being part of the said Clendon's Grant; thence south-westerly along that north-western boundary to the boundary of the Borough of Manurewa aforesaid, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 4th day of November 1937, page 2438; thence still south-westerly and then north-westerly along the generally western boundary aforesaid to the point of commencement.
Also all that area of approximately 67 acres situated in Blocks X and XI, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the generally northern boundary of the Borough of Manurewa with the north-eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and running easterly generally along the northern boundary of the said Borough, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 4th day of November 1937, page 2438, to the eastern side of the Great South Road; thence southerly along the eastern side of that road to a point 5 chains from, measured at right angles to, the north-western side of Oram Road; thence south-westerly along a right line to and along the north-western boundaries of Lots 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, and 11 on Deeds Plan 527, being parts of Clendon's Grant, along another right line to and along the north-western boundaries of Lots 10, 9, and 8 on the said Deeds Plan 527, being parts of Clendon's Grant aforesaid, and along another right line to a point on the north-eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway aforementioned, distant 5 chains in a north-westerly direction from, measured at right angles to, the north-western side of Browns Road; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the said railway to the point of commencement.
Also all that area of approximately 105 acres, situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 3 on D.P. 23098, being part of Clendon's Grant, and running south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 3, and Lot 5 on the said D.P. 23098, being part of the said Clendon's Grant, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Weymouth Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 6 on D. P. 16664, being part of Allotment 5, Papakura Parish; thence again south-easterly along a right line to and along that south-western boundary, and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 on D.P. 16664 aforesaid, being parts of the said Allotment 5, and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 on D.P. 22404, being parts of the said Allotment 5, to and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road to its south-eastern side; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that road (which forms the north-western boundary of Allotment 6, Papakura Parish) to Coxheads Road; thence again south-easterly along the south-western side of Coxheads Road aforesaid to the boundary of the Borough of Manurewa; thence south-westerly and then north-westerly generally along the boundary of the said Borough as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 4th day of November 1937, page 2438, to the south-western boundary of Lot 23 on D.P. 4436, being part of Clendon's Grant; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 23, and Lots 24, 25, and 26 on D.P. 4436 aforesaid, being parts of Clendon's Grant aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 3 on D.P. 23098 aforementioned, the point of commencement.
Also all that area of approximately 183 acres situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Borough of Manurewa, being the intersection of the right bank of the Papakura Stream with the south-western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and running north-westerly and then north-easterly along the south-western side of that railway to and along the south-eastern side of that part of the Great South Road which crosses the said railway in the vicinity of Lot 1 on D.P. 35730, being part of Allotment 8, Papakura Parish, to and along the south-eastern side of Myers Road and a right line, being that side produced to the north-eastern side of Scotts Road; thence again north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that road to, and north-easterly along, the south-eastern side of Alfriston Road to the boundary of the Manurewa Borough aforementioned; thence still north-easterly and then south-easterly and south-westerly along the boundary of the said Borough, as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 4th day of November 1937, page 2438, to its intersection with the south-western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway aforementioned, the point of commencement.

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 14 of the Local Government Commission Act 1946, the Minister of Internal Affairs requested the Local Government Commission to hold a public inquiry into certain matters relating to the boundaries of the Borough of Waihi:
And whereas the Local Government Commission duly held the public inquiry, and has approved as final a scheme bearing date the 10th day of February 1954, providing for the exclusion of the areas described in the Schedule to the said scheme from the Borough of Waihi and the inclusion of those areas in the Waihi Riding of the County of Ohinemuri:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the final scheme as hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1946, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that as on and from the 1st day of April 1954 the areas described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Waihi and included in the County of Ohinemuri, and shall form part of the Waihi Riding of that county, and, with the like advice and consent, hereby also declares that the alteration of boundaries of the said borough and the said county hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1933.

AREAS EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF WAIHI AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF OHINEMURI
ALL that area of approximately 2,628 acres, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the left bank of the Waitete Stream and the northern boundary of Section 29, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District, and running generally easterly, southerly, and then westerly along the north-eastern and southern boundaries of that portion of the Borough of Waihi firstly described in the First Schedule of the notification published in New Zealand Gazette No. 73 of the 28th day of October 1926, page 3045, to the right bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence northerly generally up that right bank to and along a right line between the north-western corner of Section 13, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District, and the southernmost corner of Residence Site 440A, to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Residence Sites 440 and 437A, to and along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of Residence Site 437B, to the south-eastern side of Baker Street; thence north-easterly along that side and north-westerly along the end of that street, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, aforementioned, to and along the north-western boundary of Special Site No. 2 containing an area of 4 acres 3 roods 21 perches, and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Special Site No. 1 containing an area of 4 acres 3 roods 13 perches, to and along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Special Site No. 4 containing an area of 4 acres 3 roods 15 perches, and along the southern side of Barry Road, to and along the southern boundary of Residence Site 380B and along the western and southern boundaries of Special Site No. 1 containing an area of 3 acres 2 roods 30 perches, the end of a public road, the southern and eastern boundaries of Residence Site 382A, and the eastern boundary of Residence Site 383, to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Residence Site 384A, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced across Moore Street to its north-eastern side; thence northerly generally along the south-western and northern boundaries of Section 223, Block XVI, aforementioned, to and along the western boundary of Residence Site 388, and along a right line across Barry Road aforementioned to the southernmost corner of Residence Site 311A; thence along the south-western boundaries of that residence site, and of Residence Site 492, and along a right line across Cuba Street to the southernmost corner of Residence Site 377; thence along the south-western boundaries of that residence site, and of Section 95, Block XVI aforementioned, and along a right line across Mataura Road to the southernmost corner of Residence Site 345; thence along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that residence site, to and along the south-western boundary of Residence Site 604, and along a right line, being that boundary produced across Wenlock Road to its north-western side; thence along that north-western side to and along the eastern side of Smith Street to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 184, Block XVI aforementioned; thence westerly generally along a right line across Smith Street aforementioned to and along the said southern boundary, and along another right line across Kitchen Street to the south-eastern corner of Residence Site 318; thence along the southern boundary of that residence site and along a right line (crossing Gladstone and Walmsley Roads) to the south-eastern corner of Residence Site 455; thence along the southern boundaries of that residence site, and of residence sites numbered 456 and 453
