Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Auckland, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line
C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of February 1954 Present: THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the P.W.D. plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being part Lots 25 and 26, D.P. 2300, being part Allotment 28, Parish of Titirangi.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142382, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Kawakawa Town District Not to Form Part of County of Bay of Islands
C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of February 1954 Present: THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL WHEREAS, pursuant to section 3 of the Town Boards Amendment Act 1908 (No. 2), the Kawakawa Town Board requested the Governor-General to declare the Kawakawa Town District not to form part of the County of Bay of Islands:
And whereas, pursuant to section 24 of the Local Government Commission Act 1946, the said request was referred to the Local Government Commission:
And whereas, pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1946, the Local Government Commission has made inquiry into the proposal and has approved as final a scheme bearing date the 21st day of July 1953, providing that the Town District of Kawakawa shall not form part of the County of Bay of Islands:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the final scheme of the Local Government Commission and to make supplementary provisions for the purposes of giving effect to the said final scheme:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1946, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares: 1. That as on and from the 1st day of April 1954, the Town District of Kawakawa shall not form part of the County of Bay of Islands.
2. That as on and from the date aforesaid the boundaries of the Town District of Kawakawa shall be as defined in the First Schedule hereto and the boundaries of the County of Bay of Islands and the Kawakawa Riding of that county shall be as defined in the Second Schedule hereto.
3. That the Town District of Kawakawa shall be deemed to have been declared not to form part of the County of Bay of Islands pursuant to section 3 of the Town Boards Amendment Act 1908 (No. 2).
FIRST SCHEDULE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN DISTRICT OF KAWAKAWA ALL that area of approximately 280 acres in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern side of the North Auckland Railway and the right bank of the Waiharakeke Stream in Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District, and running north-easterly generally down that bank and up the left bank of the Waiomio River to a point in line with the eastern side of the public road forming the western boundary of Section 9, Suburbs of Waiomio; thence along a right line to and along that road side, along the southern and south-western sides of Bridge Street, and along a right line, being that part of the south-western side of the said street forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Waiomio Village, produced across a road, the North Auckland Railway aforementioned, and another road, to the north-western boundary of Block II, Village of Waiomio aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern, southern, and again south-eastern sides of the last-mentioned road, which forms the north-western boundaries of Blocks II, III, and IV and the northern boundary of Block V of the Village of Waiomio aforementioned, and the northern boundary of Section 11 and the north-western boundary of Section 12 of the Suburbs of Waiomio, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned Section; thence south-easterly along the south-western sides of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 12 and Sections 15 and 16, Suburbs of Waiomio aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 16; thence westerly along the northern sides of Derrick Road and along a right line, being the westernmost of those roadsides produced across Waiomio Road and the Waiomio River to the left bank of the said river; thence southerly up that bank to the southernmost corner of that part of Section 13, Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District aforesaid contained in certificate of title, Volume 431, folio 282, Auckland Land Registry; thence along a right line crossing part of the Whangarei-Awanui State Highway to the easternmost corner of the area of 2 roods and 6 perches taken for road by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 78 of the 2nd day of September 1943 at page 1077; thence again southerly along the eastern boundary of that area (which now forms part of the aforesaid state highway) and along the western side of that state highway to and along the north-western boundary of Section 23, Suburbs of Kawakawa, to the easternmost corner of Section 25, Suburbs of Kawakawa aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 25 and along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 19, Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 19 and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced across Boswell Street to the easternmost corner of Section 85, Block XVI aforesaid; thence due north along a right line across the North Auckland Railway to the northern boundary of that part of the said railway taken by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 94 of the 31st day of October 1901 at page 2086; thence westerly along the aforesaid northern boundary to the Waiharakeke Stream, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF BAY OF ISLANDS ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block I, Kerikeri Survey District, on the right bank of the Takou River, being the northern extremity of the south-eastern boundary of Lot 5 of Old Land Claim 19, and running easterly and south-easterly generally along the said right bank, to and along the sea-coast to the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4r 2 Block in Block VIII, Russell Survey District; thence westerly along the northern and western boundaries of the said No. 4r 2 Block, and the north-western boundaries of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga Nos. 4r 4 and 4r 3 Blocks, crossing two intervening road-lines, and along the north-eastern boundary of Tutaematai Block to its northernmost corner; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of the said Tutaematai Block to a point due north of the north-eastern corner of Waikare No. 4A Block, and along a right line across a public road to that north-eastern corner and along another part of the western boundary of the aforesaid Tutaematai Block, the south-western boundary of Section 6 and the western boundary of Section 5, Block XII, Russell Survey District, the western boundaries of Lots 3 and 1 on D.P. 34713, being parts of Waikokopu No. 2 Block, along the western boundaries of another part of the said No. 2 Block, and of Waikokopu Nos. 1 and 3 Blocks, the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Russell Survey District aforesaid (State forest, Gazette 1950, page 162), the north-western and western boundaries of Punaruku No. 2 Block, and the western and southern boundaries of Paremata-Mokau Block to the western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District (State forest, Gazette 1944, page 607); thence again southerly along that western boundary and westerly along the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV aforesaid (State forest, Gazette 1953, page 1787), and along a right line, being that boundary produced across a public road to the eastern boundary of Section 22, Block III, Hukerenui Survey District aforesaid; thence along the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the said Section 22, the abutment of a public road, the western boundary of Section 23 of the said Block III and along a right line across a public road to and along the western boundaries of Sections 12 and 13 of the said Block III, the north-western and western boundaries of Section 5, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District aforesaid, and the western boundary of Section 6 of the said Block VII, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Section 3 and the western boundary of Section 4, both of the said Block VII, and along the western boundary of part of Puhipuhi No. 4A 1 Block to a point 124-8 links south-west of the north-eastern corner of Section 73, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District aforesaid; thence westerly along right lines parallel to, and 1 chain distant from, the northern boundary of the said Section 73, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 32921, being part of Section 65 of the said Block VI, to the Tapuhi Road; thence southerly along the eastern side of that road, which forms the western boundaries of the said Lot 1, of the said Section 73 and of Section 74 of the said Block VI, to the middle of the Waiotu River;
thence down the middle of that river and up the middle of the Waipuakakahau Stream to the eastern side of the public road intersecting Section 17, Block X, Hukerenui Survey District; thence southerly along that side of the said road to and along the eastern boundary of the area of 1 acre 1 rood and 6 perches shown on S.O. 10935 as taken for road through Section 16, Block X aforesaid, to the northern side of the Whangarei-Awanui State Highway; thence westerly
