(i) In a northerly direction to a house situated in the said Section 98;
(ii) In a north-easterly direction to and across the Oparara Road to a house situated in part Section 18.
All being situated in Block XIV, Oparara Survey District, in the County of Buller.
The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 262, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Carterton Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 in the Borough of Carterton of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 142280 referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Carterton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 38.99 perches, more or less, being part Section 18 on the public map of the Township of Carterton and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 350, folio 287 (limited as to parcels) (Wellington Land Registry).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142280, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 15th day of July 1953, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:
"'The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, shall not apply to the western side of the portion of Fernhill Terrace adjoining Lot 37 and part Lot 38, D.P. 422, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume 122, folio 235 (Wellington Registry), as is more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto',
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of Fernhill Terrace (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 25 ft. from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Fernhill Terrace, fronting Lot 37, and part Lot 38, D.P. 422, being part Section 1, Harbour District, Township of Wadestown.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141623, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
