Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street
[I.S.] C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall
upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette
become a street, and that the said street shall be under the
control of the Christchurch City Council and shall be maintained
by the said City Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said City
Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:
A. R. P.
1 0 3·9 Part Lot 1, D.P. 12999, being part Rural Section
79; coloured orange.
0 0 0·1 Part Lot 1, D.P. 12013, being part Rural Section
176; coloured sepia.
Both situated in the City of Christchurch. (S.O. 8680.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12658,
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of February 1954.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown
land: 10 acres.
Being Section 1, Square 12.
Situated in Block III, Totaranui Survey District (Tata
Islands), (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 1067.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142297,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare
the land described in the Schedule hereto subject to the
drainage rights created by Memorandum of Transfer No.
251317 (Wellington Land Registry) to be Crown land for
the purposes of the Land Act, 1948, subject to the aforesaid
drainage rights.
