Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 59 and 60, Block VII, Woodland Survey District : Area, 284 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 8834.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of February 1953.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the South Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block IV, Horohoro Survey District, containing by admeasurement 59 acres l rood 6 perches, more or less, being part Rotohokahoka D South 9B Block, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 283, folio 5 (Auckland Registry); part Rotohokahoka D South 10A Block, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 266, folio 253 (Auckland Registry); and part Rotohokahoka D South 10B Block, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 274, folio 150 (Auckland Registry).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/231c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 36022.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.
