A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land: 27·9 perches.
Being Railway land, being part Lot 11, D.P. 9873, being part Rural Section 271.
Situated in Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, Heathcote County. (S.O. 8534.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11965, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Allocating the Surface Together with Part of the Subsoil of Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Raroa

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the surface of the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the subsoil thereof down to a plane 30 ft. above and parallel to the rail-level, such plane being horizontal transversely to the said rail-level, shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Johnsonville Town Board and shall be maintained by the said Town Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Town Board.
