A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of February 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
1 rood 0.02 perches.
Being portion of Block VII, Town of Cromwell.
Situated in the Borough of Cromwell (Otago R.D.).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139044, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring an Area of Land to be a Geothermal Steam Area

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Geothermal Steam Act 1952, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a geothermal steam area for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the Taupo County and the Taupo Town District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the boundaries of Sections 5 and 6 and part Section 4, Block X, Tatua Survey District, and proceeding northerly and easterly along the north-western boundary of the said part Section 4 to the south side of the road forming the northern boundary of the said part Section 4; thence easterly generally along the south side of that road to and across the Taupo-Rotorua State Highway, along the south side of that State Highway to and across the road forming the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block XI, Tatua Survey District, and again along the south side of the said State Highway to the northernmost corner of Section 2, Block XI, Tatua Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. 41 Kaimanawa, in Block XII, Tatua Survey District; thence southerly along a right line, crossing the Waikato River, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 19603; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to the north-west side of the Rotokaua Road, and south-westerly along the north-west side of that road to the eastern boundary of part Tauhara North Block in Block XVI, Tatua Survey District; thence south-westerly again across the said road and along the eastern boundary of the said Block to its intersection with the south-western boundary of Kaingaroa No. 2 West Block in Block III, Tauhara Survey District; thence south-westerly again along a right line to Trig. 42 Tauhara in the said Block III; thence south-westerly again along a right line to Trig.
