A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric-power substation, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of December 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 0·67 perches. Being part Lot 42, Block I on D.P. 1340, being part Section 7, Town District.

Situated in Block XIII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 22883.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141713, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
