Declaring Stopped Government Road in Block VII, Makotuku Survey District, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the portion of stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road declared to be Crown land: 4.9 perches.
Adjoining Raetihi 2B 2C 3A.
Situated in Block VII, Makotuku Survey District. (S.O. 21535).
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125790, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of November 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the development of water power (Lake Coleridge Hydro-electric Scheme), is hereby set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of December 1953.

Being part Rural Section 145.
Situated in the Borough of Riccarton (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7995.)
