IN Board of Trade Notice No. 79, relating to certain leather goods, published in New Zealand Gazette No. 67 of the 26 November 1953 at page 1929, delete from the rates of import duty shown under Tariff Item 356 (1) (c) the following: “Switzerland 50%”.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 37·19 perches, more or less, being Lot 73 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin under No. 7091 and Lots 1, 2, and 3 as shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 7645, being part Sections 74, 75, 76, 77, and 109R, Ocean Beach Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 363, folio 12, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 353, folio 4 (Otago Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of November 1953.

Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 83, Urenui District (formerly Subdivision B and part Subdivision A, D.P. 2235, being part Section 1, Urenui District), situated in Block III, Waitara Survey District: Area, 12 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 8500.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of November 1953.
