A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing
Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in
the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act
1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the
Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 985, Deposited Plan No. 39859, being part Allotment 39,
District of Tamaki, situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey
District: Area, 5 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests
Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting
on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and
of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of
a provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation
dated the 7th day of October 1930 and gazetted on the 9th
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown
land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition
under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1747, situated in Block XII, Waimea Survey
District: Area, 13 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/132, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Proclaiming Road Lines Laid Off in Block VIII, Purua Survey
District, North Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto
was by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the
lst day of October 1928 duly laid off as a road line pursuant
to sections 49 and 50 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1913:
And whereas the lands described in the Second Schedule
hereto were by an order of the Maori Land Court made on
the 23rd day of July 1952 duly laid off as road lines pursuant
to section 478 of the Maori Land Act 1931:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is
in the public interest that the said road lines should be
proclaimed as public roads, and notifications to that effect have
been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section
486 of the Maori Land Act 1931:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the
intention to proclaim the said road lines as public roads has
been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of
the district concerned in terms of subsection (2) of section
487 of the Maori Land Act 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road lines
should be proclaimed as public roads:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori
Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as public roads the road lines described in the First
and Second Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
3 roods 0.8 perches.
Being part Pukemiro 2c Block (road line), coloured yellow.
Situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District. (M.L.C.
plan 13547.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as roads:

No. 3105, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of the Midland railway.
