Revoking the Reservation Over Scenic Reserves in the North
Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
reserves duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said lands are no longer suitable for
scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic
value thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery
Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 23, Block I, and Section 16, Block II, Opuawhanga
Survey District: Total area, 834 acres, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 23rd day of September 1953.

Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic
reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions
thereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 544, Hutt District, situated in Block XIII, Belmont
Survey District: Area, 10 acres 2 roods 16ยท4 perches, more or
less. Formerly part certificates of title, Volume 398, folio
207, and Volume 240, folio 66. (S.O. plan 22696.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 23rd day of September 1953.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (herein-
after referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the
lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently
reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect
to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the
lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve
under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PARTS Puketapu 3A Block, situated in Block XIV, Puketapu
Survey District, and Blocks I, II, and III, Maungaku Survey
District: Total area, 1,255 acres, more or less. As shown on
the plan marked L. and S. 7/576, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red. (M.L. plan 16906.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 29th day of September 1953.
