Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Awatoto

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall
upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette
become a road; and that the said road shall be under the
control of the Hawke's Bay County Council and shall be
maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 13·2 perches.
Being part Railway land.
Situated in Block I, Clive Survey District, Hawke's Bay
County. (S.O. 2705.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12418,
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereo is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I do also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of October 1953.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a mental hospital; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of October 1953.

and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of October 1953.
